Thunder Rebel LLC, doing business as LuxWeb Studio ("we," "us," or "our"), operates the Golden Mind mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). Golden Mind is a free iPhone app designed for adults 65 and older, offering brain games, a daily check-in, voice-recorded life stories, and Goldie, an AI companion. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Service uses and how it is protected.

1. Information We Collect

Golden Mind is designed to keep your data on your device. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no cloud sync, and no backend database, and we do not collect analytics, tracking data, or advertising identifiers. Everything you create in the app stays on your device. The only exception is Goldie, the AI companion: when you send Goldie a message, the content described in Section 2 is sent to an AI service to generate a reply.

• On-device data — Your brain game progress, daily check-ins, voice-recorded life stories, their transcripts, your "My Life Story" book, settings, and Goldie chat history are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store this data.
• Notifications — Any reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use push notification servers.
• Email — If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to respond to you.

2. AI Companion (Goldie)

Golden Mind includes Goldie, an AI companion you can chat with. Before your first conversation, a one-time consent screen explains that your messages are sent to an AI service, and Goldie is used only after you agree. When you chat with Goldie:

• What is sent — The messages you type or dictate to Goldie.
• Who receives it — These messages are sent to Rork AI Cloud, an AI service provider, solely to generate Goldie's reply.
• What is not sent — No account, name, email address, location, or device identifier is sent with your request. Your life stories, recordings, check-ins, and game data are not sent.
• No tracking or ads — Goldie messages are not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising.
• Storage — Replies are delivered to your device, and your Goldie chat history is stored only on your device. We do not operate servers that store your messages or Goldie's replies.

Because your messages are processed by an AI service provider, please avoid including information you would not want shared with an AI service, such as full names, contact details, financial information, or other sensitive personal information.

3. Microphone and Speech Recognition

Golden Mind asks for access to your microphone and Apple speech recognition only so you can record voice life stories and dictate messages. The microphone is used only when you tap the record button. Recordings and their transcripts are stored on your device. Speech recognition is provided by Apple's iOS speech recognition service and is subject to Apple's privacy policy. You can turn off these permissions at any time in your iPhone's Settings app; the rest of the app will continue to work.

4. Pricing

Golden Mind is 100% free. There are no ads, no accounts, and nothing to buy.

5. Third-Party Services

Golden Mind relies on the following services to provide its features:

• Rork AI Cloud — An AI service provider that powers Goldie, the AI companion, only after your consent.
• Apple speech recognition — Converts your voice to text for life story transcripts and dictation.
• Apple App Store — App distribution.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes.

6. How We Use Information

• To provide the features of the Service on your device.
• To send your Goldie messages to the AI service provider so it can generate a reply.
• To respond to emails you send us.

7. Data Retention

• App data — Stored locally on your device, including your life stories, recordings, transcripts, and Goldie chat history. We do not have access to it. Deleting the app removes all app data.
• Goldie requests — We do not store your Goldie messages or replies on any server we operate. Requests are handled by the AI service provider under its own policies.
• Emails — Kept only as long as needed to respond to you, or until you ask us to delete them.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We do not share data for advertising or analytics. The only data that leaves your device is what you send to Goldie, as described in Section 2. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

9. Children's Privacy

Golden Mind is designed for adults and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Data portability.

11. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
